Wonderful stay with exceptional staff

I recently enjoyed a stay in a gorgeous villa that offered breathtaking views of the rice terraces. The staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure I had a memorable experience. The serene setting of the property allowed me to fully relax, while the delicious breakfast featured authentic Indonesian dishes.

The tranquil ambiance and dedicated staff created a delightful experience. Although the pool in our villa was unheated, making it less enjoyable, the stunning views and overall charm of the resort more than compensated. The breakfast was excellent, showcasing local flavors and friendly service.

Nice bathtub setup, but safety issues with a falling wooden plank were concerning.

Staying at Komaneka in Ubud truly felt like stepping into another world. The peaceful atmosphere combined with the friendly staff made our experience unforgettable. I enjoyed the spacious Bisma Suite, although I wished the charging ports were more plentiful. Breakfast with the view was the highlight!

The food scene here is a real treat! You can’t go wrong with breakfast by the pool—it’s a must! Staff were super friendly, making your stay even better.

While the charm was there, the place felt a tad worn. I expected a bit more sparkle for what’s labeled a 5-star resort—just a few more charging ports would do!

The hotel was just a ten-minute walk from attractions like the Peliatan Royal Palace and the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, making it easy to explore the beauty of Ubud, while the beautiful pool was such a peaceful retreat to enjoy after a day of walking around town.

I spent 6 nights in the Bisma Suite at Komaneka at Bisma, and it felt like a dream retreat. The suite was spacious with a beautiful balcony that overlooked picturesque rice fields and the lush valley. The daily breakfast was a highlight. Tried local dishes like Nasi Goreng and delicious fresh juices. I also appreciated the afternoon high tea, and the variety kept me excited about mealtime. The staff made me feel like part of their family, always welcoming with genuine smiles. Spa services were excellent, though a bit pricey. The location offered a perfect balance of seclusion while being just a short walk from Ubud’s center. On the downside, I found the charging ports in the room limited, which made charging devices a bit tricky at times. I expected a bit more attention to tech details for a luxury place. Still, the charm and comfort of this hotel made the stay unforgettable.

The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, making us feel right at home while they played with our kid during meals. We enjoyed the relaxing infinity pool and the spa treatments were quite nice too. The only downside was the occasional noise from nearby activities, but it didn't ruin our wonderful stay! 😊
